Wayne UNC Health Care is seeking a CT/MRI Technologist to perform a range of imaging procedures with attention to quality and patient safety. You will work on-site in the Wayne Health system, handling examinations, patient education, and procedure documentation.

The role requires CT or MRI registration, BLS, and 1–2 years of experience in CT/MRI. Strong knowledge of anatomy and contrast administration, plus the ability to adapt to busy clinical environments, are essential.

Competenze

• Completion of two years of formal Radiologic Technology training.
• CT or MRI registration required, or must obtain within one year of employment.
• BLS certification required.
• One year experience as a CT/MRI technologist preferred; two years as a Diagnostic Technologist preferred.
• Knowledge of CT and MRI procedures, and cross-sectional anatomy; ability to work independently.

Mansioni

• Operates CT/MRI equipment per departmental protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains consent.
• Administers prescribed medications and contrast media; performs IV therapy techniques.
• Enters charges and procedures daily; maintains accurate records.
• Maintains and restocks the assigned room; reports equipment issues to supervisor.
• Remains flexible to shifts and assists with staff training as needed.
