Astrana Health in Monterey Park, CA, seeks a California-licensed RN to support our outpatient CT/MRI center. You will greet patients, screen for safety, and assist during imaging in a clear, patient-friendly manner.

Under physician supervision, you may respond to rare contrast reactions, collaborate with technologists, and ensure a smooth, safe CT/MRI experience with a focus on patient comfort and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

Active California RN license.
Current BLS (ACLS preferred but not required).
Excellent patient communication and interaction skills.
Commitment to patient safety and MRI safety protocols (training provided).
Adherence to professional conduct and HIPAA compliance.
Bilingual Mandarin and/or Cantonese strongly preferred.
Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion is a plus but not required.

Responsabilités

Greet patients, review safety screening forms, and answer any patient questions.
Escort patient to changing room and provide guidance throughout the imaging process.
Ensure a safe and comfortable patient experience during their CT/MRI exam.
Collaborate with CT/MRI technologists to ensure efficient workflow.
Under the direct supervision of a physician, occasionally assist with responding to rare contrast reactions (vitals, oxygen, medications including epinephrine auto-injector).
Additional duties as assigned.
