Job summary

Martha's Vineyard Hospital, Inc. seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CAT scan exams, ensuring high image quality and patient safety. The role requires MA licensure, a BS in Radiologic Technology, and CAT scanning training with clinical experience.

Experience with MRI and a strong commitment to patient care across age groups is preferred. The position involves using EPIC, following radiation protection protocols, and collaborating with the OR and radiology

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Massachusetts radiology license.
• Bachelor of Science or equivalent in Radiologic Technology.
• Two-year AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program; CAT scanning training.
• 1 year of CAT scanning clinical training in a JCAHO-approved facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic fixed equipment.
• Operate C-Arm under sterile and non-sterile conditions.
• Perform portable x-ray exams; maintain imaging quality.
• Ensure radiation safety for patients and staff.
• Utilize EPIC and hospital information systems for patient care.
• Adhere to patient identifiers and sterile procedures in the OR.
• Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean, orderly department.
• Provide compassionate patient care across age groups from neonate to geriatric.
