Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• One year of experience in a healthcare related field OR current radiology student.
• Broad knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Assist CT/MRI department operations including stocking and data entry.
• Prepare oral contrast and manage patient flow for tests.
• Ensure patient modesty and comfort; assist with changing and respond to call lights.
• Schedule scans and monitor the queue; verify orders and communicate with inpatients.
• Operate and troubleshoot PACS imaging tasks and report malfunctions.
• Follow Radiation/MRI Safety Guidelines and maintain professional conduct.
