Qualifications

• Associate degree, or Certificate, in radiologic technology from a program accredited by an agency recognized by the US Department of Education (USDE) or CHEA.
• Licensed Radiographer - State of Maryland; ARRT (R) and (CT); Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification.

Responsibilities

• Executes advanced CT imaging procedures and leads CT staff across locations and patient types.
• Selects accurate technical factors on an individual patient basis and monitors patient care.
• Applies dose reduction concepts (Image Wisely/Image Gently) and administers contrast per policy.
• Leads departmental staff, manages workflow, scheduling, budgeting, and staff training.
• Oversees documentation of patient care in electronic health records and performs QA activities.
