Tfhd seeks a part-time, on-site Radiologic Technologist in Truckee, CA. The role includes CT, special procedures, and intra-operative imaging support under Radiologist supervision.

The position requires ARRT-R and CT certifications, a CA CRT license, and NV licensure, with 1–2 years of experience or clinical rotations substituted for experience. Responsibilities include operating x-ray and CT equipment, venipuncture for contrast, dose monitoring, and adherence to safety standards.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of a Radiologic Technologist program (A.S. or equivalent).
• 1-2 years of experience; clinical rotations may substitute.
• Must hold ARRT Radiography (ARRT-R) and CT certifications.
• CA CRT licensure (and N.V. licensure) per job requirements.
• BLS certification for Healthcare Providers.
• Ability to perform venipuncture for contrast injections.

Responsibilities

• Operate x-ray equipment to produce diagnostic radiographs according to department protocols.
• Transport patients as needed.
• Set and adjust technical factors for each exam.
• Process digital images and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Provide radiation protection for patients and staff.
• Manage daily CT operations under Radiologist supervision.
• Perform patient positioning and CT imaging with quality results.
• Monitor radiation dose and safety protocols during scans.
• Perform IV access and venipuncture for contrast-enhanced studies.
• Prepare and administer contrast agents per orders.
• Review history and labs, assess contraindications.
• Respond to adverse reactions and monitor patient status.
• Adapt to high-volume, high-pressure environment.
• Preceptor duties and staff training as assigned.
• Contribute to QA, protocol optimization, and safety.

ARRT-R Radiography

Computed Tomography (CT) Certification

California Registered Radiologic Technologist (CRT)

Nevada Radiologic Technologist license
