Job summary

TotalMed Allied is seeking a CT Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Truckee, CA. The role requires 1 year of CT experience, ARRT (CT) certification with registration, and BLS; state licensing may apply.

Responsibilities include operating CT equipment, preparing patients, and ensuring high-quality images for interpretation. Shifts are 10 hours at night, 40 hours per week, with a travel employment-type arrangement.

Qualifications

• Must have 1 year of CT imaging experience and be able to stand for long periods.
• BLS certification and ARRT (CT) Certification with registration are required.
• State-specific licensing may be required where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Identify patients and review imaging requests, explain procedures and provide reassurance.
• Interpret doctors' instructions and position patients for CT scans.
• Operate CT equipment to capture diagnostic images of internal organs and tissues.
• Administer radiocontrast agents as needed to enhance visibility.
• Evaluate image quality and ensure accurate documentation in patient records.
