Qualifications

• ARRT certification in Radiology or NMTCB for Nuclear Medicine and CT registry within one year of hire.
• Current BLS certification.
• Graduate of ARRT-recognized Radiologic or Nuclear Medicine program.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders with radiologist before exam and refer questions as needed.
• Identify and prepare patients, explain procedures, and document on worksheets.
• Review patient history and EMR, and correlate results with imaging.
• Conduct CT scans and assist Radiologist; follow sterile technique.
• Apply radiation safety standards and monitor equipment performance.
• Rotate shifts including call back, holidays, and weekends.
