Job summary

Regional One Health in Memphis, TN, is seeking a full-time Radiology Technologist specializing in CT procedures. You will review records, prepare equipment, perform scans, and ensure patient safety and data accuracy.

The role requires completion of an AMA radiology program, ARRT certification within 2 years, CPR/BLS, and typically 1 year of radiology experience. You will work with RIS and PACS, maintain HIPAA compliance, and support department operations.

Qualifications

• Completion of AMA radiology technology program.
• Ability to work with neonate to geriatric patients as required.
• ARRT certification within two years of hire; CT ARRT within two years.
• CPR and BLS certification required on hire.
• Minimum 1 year experience as radiology technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review patient records and physician requests before CT to ensure accurate identification.
• Set up and select imaging equipment and settings for each exam.
• Perform CT scans for diagnostic or therapeutic purposes per policy.
• Explain procedures to patients and prepare them for scanning.
• Position and immobilize patients as needed for accurate images.
• Ensure safety and radiation protection following policies and HIPAA.
• Document procedures and enter data into RIS and PACS accurately.
