Job summary

FlexStaff in Connecticut is seeking a qualified Radiologic Technologist to perform radiographic exams and ensure safety and quality standards. You will prepare patients, obtain informed consent when needed, and operate radiology equipment to produce diagnostic images with accuracy.

The role requires ARRT certification, state licensure, and at least one year of radiologic experience. You will label, file, and track images and maintain patient records in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Radiologic Technology program, required.
• New York State and/or Connecticut Department of Health licensure as a Radiologic Technologist, required.
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registration, required.
• Minimum of one (1) year experience performing radiologic exams, required.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient for exam. Relieves anxiety by explaining the procedure in layman's terms and ensuring consent when needed.
• Performs radiographic exams per standards; positions patient and adjusts equipment for correct exposure; monitors patient condition and safety.
• Processes and maintains exposed images; labels film; ensures correct right/left markers; logs exams and tracks steps.
• Performs related duties as required.
