Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures with a focus on patient safety and comfort. The role involves setting up and operating imaging equipment, verifying orders, gathering histories, and clearly explaining procedures to patients.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT radiography and CT certifications, a completed accredited radiologic technology program, BLS, and at least one year of radiology experience.

Qualifications

• Accredited radiologic technology program completed.
• ARRT Radiography credential.
• ARRT CT credential.
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate imaging equipment.
• Verify orders and gather clinical histories.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns to facilitate cooperation.
• Adhere to radiation protection and infection control safety protocols.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, and quality control.
• Support departmental operations and documentation.
