Responsibilities

• Verify clinician orders and obtain patient history.
• Prepare and position patients for imaging studies.
• Ensure accurate identification and documentation of studies.
• Set up, operate, and maintain imaging equipment.
• Adhere to infection control and radiation safety protocols.
• Communicate with patients to explain procedures and reduce anxiety.
• Restock supplies and maintain department cleanliness.
• Transport patients and support team members as needed.
• Uphold quality control standards and deliver timely study processing.
