Job summary

Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging in a collaborative care team. You will perform CT procedures per guidelines, operate imaging equipment, and ensure diagnostic accuracy while upholding safety standards.

Responsibilities include imaging optimization, patient safety, contrast administration, documentation in RIS/PACS, and ensuring comfort and privacy through excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT - R (Radiography), ARRT - CT, and BLS certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT exams, adjusting techniques to optimize image quality and dose reduction.
• Maintain equipment cleanliness, troubleshoot issues, and adhere to infection control protocols.
• Obtain patient history, verify orders, and explain procedures using AIDET to reduce anxiety.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy; administer contrast and assist with patient positioning.
• Review images for diagnostic quality, repeat as necessary, and document accurately in RIS/PACS systems.
• Monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and manage supplies and equipment.
• Coordinate workflows, support operational compliance, and communicate effectively with team members.
