Job summary

The University of Washington Medical Center – Montlake radiology department is seeking a CT Radiology Technologist to perform CT examinations with accuracy and independence under radiologist supervision. The role includes preparing patients, operating the CT system, and delivering high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.

Work schedule is 4x10s, Tuesday–Friday, 2000–0600, emphasizing patient safety, workflow efficiency, and collaboration with radiologists and staff.

Qualifications

• Certified by the State of Washington as a Radiologic Technologist.
• Formal technology training in an AMA approved school, registration by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) OR equivalent education/experience.
• Equivalent education and/or experience may substitute for minimum qualifications except when there are legal requirements, such as a license, certification, and/or registration.

Responsibilities

• Prepares patient and independently performs CT exams & procedures
• Operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment
• Coordinates and optimizes customer service and workflow
• Set up and clean exam rooms, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are ready
• Assist with training and mentoring new personnel and students
