Job summary

Join our Radiology Department at MetroHealth! The CT Tech will perform CT imaging, assist with CT-guided procedures, and coordinate patient scheduling for inpatients and outpatients. Requires ARRT-registered, Ohio radiography license, and BLS.

Night shifts, 60 hours biweekly, with every-other Sunday on-call. Sign-on bonus up to $15,000 for external applicants. MetroHealth serves a diverse population in the Greater Cleveland area, including trauma, stroke, cancer, and underserved patients.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Registered Radiology Technologist with ARRT.
• ARRT CT credential or obtains within one year of employment.
• Valid Ohio Radiographer License (ODH).
• American Heart Association BLS Certification or obtains within probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Produces quality CT images in a variety of settings.
• Assists with CT-guided procedures including biopsies, drain placements, and tumor ablations.
• Patient scheduling and coordination for inpatients and outpatients.
• Educates patients regarding procedures, equipment, and examination to maintain understanding and comfort.
• On-the-spot critical thinking and working under stress.
• Works well both independently and as part of the CT Team.
