Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT/MRI exams under an radiologist's guidance. The role involves conducting computerized axial tomography and related radiologic procedures with supervision as needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology; education cannot be substituted by experience.
• Currently registered as RT (R) with ARRT.
• Must become CT registered with ARRT within 1 year, or hold NMT certification per ARRT/NMTCB.

Responsibilities

• Perform computerized axial tomography exams (MRI/CT) under the direction of a radiologist.
• Carry out radiological procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision.
