Job summary

UAB Medicine in Birmingham, Alabama is seeking a CT Technologist to perform CT procedures under radiologist supervision in a fast-paced facility. This role requires independent judgment to render prescribed CT procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited School of Radiology required.
• Currently registered as an RT (R) with ARRT. One year to become CT registered with ARRT or NMTCB; if not obtained within one year, up to 180 days more may be allowed.

Responsibilities

• Under the direction of a radiologist and the CT supervisor, to perform CT procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.
• To perform a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, ingenuity and initiative to render prescribed CT procedures.
