Job summary

NewYork-Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hospital seeks an Imaging Technologist in Radiology to perform CT imaging and other procedures. You will greet patients, assist radiologists, assess patient condition, and ensure safety standards while delivering high-quality radiographic images.

The role covers CT imaging services with an evening shift (Wed–Sat). Requirements include DOH license, ARRT certification, and accredited program completion. On-site relocation is required to NYP campuses.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• NY State X-ray license required.
• ARRT Certification (Radiology) required.
• Preferred: NY DOH IV Certification and CT certification.

Responsibilities

In this role, the Imaging Technologist is responsible for the preparation and execution of various procedures. You’ll have an exciting opportunity to warmly greet & welcome patients/visitors/staff & assist radiologists and other physicians in performing exams when necessary. Additional duties include to assess patient condition, produce good quality radiographic images, & ensure adherence to safety standards.

This position will cover CT imaging services.

This Is a Full-time, Evening Shift Position

• Wednesday 2:00pm-11:30pm
• Thursday 1:30pm-11:30pm
• Friday 1:30pm-11:30pm
• Saturday 1:30pm-11:30pm

Preferred Criteria

• N.Y. State Department of Health IV Certification
• ARRT Advanced Modality certification - CT
• At least 1 year of experience

Required Criteria

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Graduate from an accredited program in the school of Radiologic Technology
• N.Y. State Department of Health X-ray License
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Certification
