Job summary

The CHRISTUS Health system seeks a CT Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging, support colleagues, and ensure smooth patient flow at our Tyler campus.

The role requires ARRT radiography and CT licensure within 1 year, Texas MRT, and BLS. Per diem schedule flexibility supports service coverage across shifts and sites, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and image quality. You will participate in QA, maintain PACS, and collaborate with radiologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology.
• 1 year CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred.
• Radiography (R) by ARRT required; CT by ARRT within 1 year of hire.
• Texas MRT license by TMB and BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Meets CHRISTUS competencies and promotes a collaborative work environment.
• Maintains policy compliance, confidentiality, and professional behavior.
• Assists radiologists and referring physicians to support patient throughput.
• Scanning and storing completed exams in PACS; follow PACS downtime procedures.
• Troubleshoots equipment and reports malfunctions to leadership.
