Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal radiology technology program completed.
• Experience: documented supervision of a minimum of 125 CT repetitions (preferred).
• Current State of Texas license required; Basic Life Support within 30 days; ARRT certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proper setup, use and operation of X-ray equipment, utilizing correct settings for each examination.
• Positions and instructs patients, and determines proper exposure factors for each radiograph.
• Proper setup, use and operation of CT scanner in accordance established procedures.
• Administers contrast media under the direction of Radiologist.
• Attends in-services and meetings as required.
• Maintains patient confidentiality and PHI handling.
• Abides by hospital codes and safety practices.
