Job summary

Cleveland Clinic South Pointe Hospital is seeking a PRN CT Technologist to join its CT Scanner team. The role involves operating CT scanners, preparing patients, and supporting imaging studies in a fast-paced hospital setting.

The selected candidate will perform imaging procedures days/evenings/weekends, ensure patient comfort, and collaborate with radiology staff to deliver high-quality cross-sectional imaging. This position emphasizes safety, QA, and patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT R.T.(R) registered technologist required; CT certification within one year.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy.
• Preferred: 1 year of general radiologic technologist experience.

Responsibilities

• Acquire patient chart data and verify study aligns with diagnostic needs.
• Educate patients regarding procedure, equipment, and exam to ensure cooperation.
• Maintain CT area including technical and clerical components for QA and documentation.
• Position patient to obtain the appropriate images.
• Follow standard safety protocols and PPE requirements.
