Job summary
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a CT imaging specialist for a contract assignment in California. You will operate CT scanners to generate diagnostic images, prepare patients, and assist with general radiography and fluoroscopy when needed.
The ideal candidate holds an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT certification, California CRT license, and current BLS. You will join a collaborative radiology team focused on high‑quality patient care and safety.
Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- ARRT certification in Radiography and CT preferred.
- California CRT license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with CT and related imaging modalities.
Responsibilities
- Operate CT scanners to generate high-quality diagnostic images.
- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring safety and comfort.
- Perform general radiography and fluoroscopy as needed.
- Follow physician instructions for imaging protocols precisely.
- Evaluate images for technical quality before physician review.
- Maintain accurate patient records per facility protocols.
- Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and equipment use.
- Collaborate with radiologists and medical team for optimal care.
