Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia is seeking an imaging support professional to assist diagnostic and therapeutic imaging across X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound, and other modalities in UVA Health facilities. Responsibilities include operating imaging equipment, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis, and assisting clinical teams.

Requires completion of high school and at least six months of relevant experience, plus AHA BLS certification within three months of hire.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Experience: 6 months relevant experience.
• Licensure: AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required three months after hire.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment (X-ray, MRI, CT, ultrasound) to capture diagnostic-quality images.
• Support delivery of imaging services and assist clinical staff in patient care.
