Job summary

The Rector & Visitors of the University of Virginia seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging using X-ray, MRI, CT, and other modalities. You will support patient care and work with clinical teams to ensure high-quality images for diagnosis and education.

Required qualifications include ARRT licensure, an accredited radiography program, and BLS certification. Prolonged standing and lifting are expected, with eligibility for licensure in Virginia.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited JRC program in Radiography.
• ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (R.T.) required; BLS certification required.
• AHA Health Care Provider BLS certification required.
• Virginia Driver’s License may be required.
• Standing for long periods, lifting 50–100 lbs, and travel may be required.

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment (X-ray, MRI) to capture high-quality diagnostic images.
• Assist in patient care and education during imaging procedures.
