Job summary

Penn Medicine is seeking a CT Technologist to provide diagnostic imaging for CT examinations, ensuring safety and ALARA compliance. Candidates should have an accredited radiologic technology program, ARRT credentials, and hospital CT experience.

Qualifications

• Amer Registry Radiologic Tech (Required)
• Radiologic Technologist (Required)
• Certified Phlebotomy Technician (Required)
• A minimum of one year hospital experience working as a CT Tech.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required)
• BLS Certification within 6 months of hire

Responsibilities

• Produces routine and complex CT images without direct supervision and assists physicians to obtain diagnostic results.
• Demonstrates knowledge of sterile techniques and safety policies; coordinates with patient floors and other departments to maintain workflow.
• Operates CT scanners safely, sets appropriate technical factors and algorithms, and documents exams and any needed repairs or maintenance.
• Manages patient positioning, exam documentation, and scheduling while prioritizing patient comfort and timely care.
