Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required where applicable.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Strong communication and patient-care skills.
• Ability to use computer systems and access patient data.

Responsibilities

• Assist radiology staff in patient care before and after imaging tests.
• Transfer/transport patients and ensure timely imaging.
• Access and present information from EMR, O2, PACS.
• Prepare imaging rooms and maintain room turnover.
• Attend to patient comfort during transport.
• Coordinate between nursing and technology staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions.
• Provide education to patients and families.
• Maintain supply par levels and restock.
• Schedule coordination support.
