Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be able to perform the professional, clinical and/or technical competencies of the assigned unit or department.
• Ability to use computer systems and retrieve data as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide constant patient observation while in immediate care area.
• Coordinate information between nursing unit and technology staff; screen appointments.
• Access EMR and present information to technologist staff for review.
• Enter information into O2 to assist radiology technologists.
• Prepare imaging rooms before/after exams for efficient room turnover.
• Transport patients to and from radiology; monitor comfort during transport.
• Assist with inpatient/outpatient schedule coordination; support timely imaging.
• Educate patients and families regarding radiology procedures.
