Job summary

WH Wheeling Hospital Inc. seeks a Part-time CT Tech Assistant to support the delivery of radiology services under supervision. You will greet patients, prepare them for exams, verify orders, and assist radiologic technologists in routine imaging procedures.

The role requires a high school diploma, BLS certification within 30 days, and competency in patient handling. Prior clinical experience is preferred. This position offers exposure to a busy imaging department and opportunities to develop

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.
• Competency in safe patient handling equipment.
• Preferred: one year of clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and facilitate the Radiology department experience.
• Answer phone calls promptly, identifying self and unit.
• Verify written orders and notify physicians of inaccuracies.
• Support Radiologic Technologists in planning and execution of routine imaging procedures.
• Prepare patients for basic examinations and diagnostic procedures.
• Coordinate patient arrival and department workflow.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment and assist with infection control.
