Job summary

GBMC HealthCare in Towson, MD is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform CT procedures under general supervision, prepare exam area, position patients and adjust equipment to obtain quality diagnostic images.

Two years post-high school training in diagnostic imaging, ARRT registry, MD licensure, and two years' radiography experience or one year CT are required; knowledge of ALARA, PACS, and teaching duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Completion of two years post-high school training in diagnostic imaging.
• Must have passed ARRT national registry and state licensure.
• Two years’ experience as Radiologic Technologist or one year CT experience.
• Knowledge of radiology principles and cross-sectional anatomy.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient for examination and set up CT equipment and data processing tools.
• Use ALARA principles to select techniques and protocols.
• Assist physicians during procedures and manage contrast materials.
• Transfer image data to PACS and V-RAD for review by physicians.
• Maintain case records and ensure accurate documentation.
