Job summary

Proforma Health in Georgia is seeking a CT Technologist to deliver safe, high-quality imaging in a hospital setting. You will perform CT procedures, adjust techniques for diagnostic quality, and follow ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure.

The role requires ARRT-R and ARRT-CT certifications, a radiologic technology program completion, BLS, and at least one year of experience. You will work with patients, explain procedures, ensure safety, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• Minimum 1 year radiology experience.
• ARRT-R, ARRT-CT and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform CT procedures following department guidelines and capture diagnostic images.
• Operate imaging equipment independently, optimize technique to ensure diagnostic quality while minimizing radiation exposure (ALARA).
• Maintain cleanliness and disinfection of rooms and equipment; report issues promptly.
• Obtain clinical history, verify orders, ensure patient safety through screening and proper identification.
• Explain procedures clearly, address patient questions, and provide comfort using AIDET principles.
• Ensure patient safety, privacy and age-appropriate care during exams.
• Administer contrast agents, position patients, and apply shielding as needed.
• Review images for quality, repeat or correct as necessary, and finalize studies in RIS/PACS.
• Document accurately, monitor patient condition, respond to emergencies, and support workflows.
• Assist with equipment maintenance, infection control, and regulatory compliance.
