Job summary

Washington Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to oversee CT scanner operations, ensure patient safety, and maintain ALARA standards. You will perform quality control, coordinate with Central Registration, and collaborate with other modalities to optimize patient throughput.

The role requires CA licensure, ARRT CT certification or active pursuit within one year, and BLS. Strong communication, organization, and emergency adaptability are essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved Radiologic Technology Program.
• Two years Computed Tomography experience (preferred).
• Two years working as Radiologic Technologist (Required).
• Registered Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) required.
• Certified Radiologic Technologist by the State of California required.
• Registered CT Technologist with ARRT, or will receive CT certification within one year from date of hire as CT Technologist, Required.
• Basic Life Support, Required.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT scanner and manage workflow to ensure timely patient throughput.
• Ensure patient safety and ALARA compliance in all procedures.
• Perform OEM mandated quality control and maintain equipment integrity.
• Coordinate with Central Registration for scheduling and with other modalities for throughput.
• Adapt to add-on and emergency procedures as needed.
