Job summary

UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center in Steamboat Springs, CO, is hiring a Radiologic Technologist (CT) for PRN shifts. The role performs computed tomography imaging in accordance with department standards and organization values.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program, ARRT CT registry (or registry-eligible within 12 months), and holds BLS certification. Pay ranges from $43.70 to $61.17 per hour, commensurate with experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
• Registered RT and registry-eligible with completion of registry in CT within 12 months (ARRT).
• BLS Healthcare Provider CPR certification required before start date and valid through hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and physician orders; schedules CT exams and educates patients on procedures.
• Prepares and administers contrast media as appropriate; monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Implements safety standards, performs QC on equipment; positions patient and conducts imaging; troubleshoots issues.
• Enters, transmits and reports scan results; addresses imaging quality issues.
