Qualifications

• ARRT CT certification required; equivalent experience accepted within three years of hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required with equivalence within 1 month of hire
• ARRT Radiologic Technologist certification required; equivalence within 1 year of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs CT studies following protocol and tailors exams per patient history, protocol, and Radiologist instruction
• Administers IV and oral contrast as required; monitors patient condition and documents data
• Provides radiation protection using shielding and collimation as appropriate and documents scheduling
• Assists radiologist with sterile procedures, obtains vital signs and clinical history, and detects urgent conditions for prompt radiologist intervention
