Job summary

Banner Health in Scottsdale is seeking a CT Technologist to independently perform sophisticated CT procedures using state-of-the-art equipment. You will educate patients, maintain high-quality images, and support an efficient imaging department within a patient-centered team.

The role requires ARRT or NMTCB certification, state CT licensure, an advanced CT credential within 18 months, and BLS. Ideal candidates have two years of clinical radiology experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma from an approved Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT or NMTCB certification; State Licensure required for AZ/WY/NV before hire.
• Advanced CT certification (ARRT(CT) or NMTCB(CT)) within 18 months of hire.
• BLS certification required.
• Two years of clinical radiology experience expected.

Responsibilities

• Perform prescribed CT procedures following physician orders.
• Educate patients and families about procedures.
• Produce high-quality images and document results for interpretation.
• Perform and assess quality control on imaging equipment.
• Maintain a safe environment and adhere to safety policies.
• Ensure workflow efficiency and inventory of supplies.
• Troubleshoot equipment and notify appropriate personnel when needed.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary health care teams.
