Job summary

Qualifications

• ARRT certification required; ARRT (R)(CT) preferred for Level I.
• 1–2 years hospital CT experience for Level I; 3+ years for Level II.
• BLS certification required.
• State licensure and IV competency required.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and radiation safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate CT equipment and produce quality images.
• Verify patient identity and prepare patients for procedures.
• Review images for clarity and accuracy.
• Follow radiation safety guidelines.
• Provide patient education and comfort.
• Communicate with care team and coordinate patient care.
• Stay updated on CT advancements through ongoing education.
• Assist and instruct students and colleagues in exam protocols.
