Qualifications

• Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT CT certification or registry eligibility required or within 90 days of employment.
• Licensure and BLS certification as per state and department requirements.

Responsibilities

• Verify physician orders and procedures for accuracy.
• Independently operate CT imaging equipment according to protocol.
• Explain procedures to patients to ensure understanding and comfort.
• Review patient images to ensure diagnostic quality before transmission.
• Assist in departmental operations (scheduling, inventory, equipment maintenance).
• Adapt approach for diverse patient populations and travel between facilities.
