ARRT or NMTCB certification required at hire; new grads must obtain certification before employment.
Completion of a Radiologic Technology training program.
Ability to perform technical procedures independently and collaborate in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

Ensure proper patient identification, preparation, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
Utilize imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, and apply ALARA principles for patient safety.
Prepare and administer medications as prescribed, evaluate image quality, and verify data transfer and storage.
Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers, and assist with interventional CT procedures.
Perform CT scans as prescribed, ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
