Job summary

Wellstar is seeking a Radiology CT Technologist to perform imaging procedures, position patients, and ensure high-quality diagnostic images. You will verify orders, follow safety protocols, and coordinate with radiology staff to deliver timely studies.

Expect involvement in a fast-paced hospital radiology department with emphasis on patient care and accuracy. The role requires ARRT Radiography certification, CT experience or training, and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Completed accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification is required or in process.
• ARRT-CT certification is required or in process.
• BLS certification at hire or within required period.
• CT experience preferred but not mandatory, with training provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiologic equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images.
• Verify patient identity and procedure details, ensuring safety and privacy.
• Prepare and position patients for exams, using proper immobilization and shielding.
• Review images for clarity and anatomy, escalating quality concerns.
• Follow protocols for contrast media administration and pre/post-care where applicable.
• Collaborate with radiologists and technologists to complete studies efficiently.
