Job summary

Atlantic Health in Pompton Plains, NJ is seeking a CT Technologist to oversee radiologic CT exams, prepare patients, and ensure safety and comfort during imaging procedures.

You will operate CT scanners, set technical parameters, and monitor patients for reactions to contrast agents, following state and professional standards. ARRT CT registration is required; 3+ years of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• ARRT CT registration is required.
• 3 years of related field experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images for diagnosis.
• Educates and prepares patients for examinations.
• Sets technical parameters to accurately demonstrate anatomy and pathology.
• Ensures safety, comfort, and infection control during imaging.
• Manages ED and outpatient imaging operations on shift.
