Job summary

KAISER is seeking a CT & General Radiology Technologist for Gaithersburg, MD. The role conducts computerized tomography and general radiology procedures, explains procedures to patients, and ensures accurate imaging with timely interpretation.

The position requires ARRT CT certification, BLS, and compliance with safety protocols, with on-site support and strong patient communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must have ARRT CT certification or be registry-eligible with CT training.
• High School Diploma or GED required; ARRT program graduation preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Knowledge of Epic electronic medical record system preferred.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes patients and verifies procedures, explaining the process clearly.
• Reviews patient history and consent forms prior to imaging.
• Performs X-ray and CT examinations following protocols.
• Administers IV contrast under radiologist direction when indicated.
• Ensures image quality and completes end-to-end workflow for timely interpretation.
