Required Technical & Functional Skills

• Hands-on experience with advanced 3D X-ray and Computed Tomography (CT) scanning systems
• Strong expertise with North Star Imaging (NSI) equipment
• Proficiency in digital metrology and model interrogation
• Experience with post-processing software such as Geomagic, VGStudio, PolyWorks, or equivalent
• Ability to perform reverse engineering from CT scan data
• Knowledge of fixturing design, especially using low-density materials
• Solid understanding of engineering principles, mechanisms, and data interpretation
• Minimum 2+ years of experience with NSI or equivalent industrial X-ray/CT systems
• Experience developing and applying X-ray and CT inspection techniques
• Strong analytical problem-solving and conceptual design skills
• Effective communication and presentation skills (including customer interactions and technical demonstrations)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to quickly learn new lab techniques and work effectively under pressure

Roles & Responsibilities

• Acquire high-resolution digital data using advanced 3D X-ray and CT scanning systems
• Collaborate with engineering teams to understand testing requirements and define optimal scanning strategies
• Perform digital metrology analysis, including model comparison and data interrogation
• Analyze and interpret CT scan data to identify defects and provide actionable engineering insights
• Support customers with technical problem-solving and solution recommendations
• Design and develop custom fixturing solutions for CT and X-ray applications
• Execute reverse engineering tasks based on scan data
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, including handling of biohazardous materials when required
• Support customer presentations, facility tours, and sales/marketing demonstrations

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience working in NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) environments
• Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing)
• Exposure to automation or advanced inspection workflows
