Building from its core expertise of administering residential energy efficiency programs, Abode implements many utility and government‑sponsored programs helping homeowners and small businesses develop and implement plans to electrify and decarbonize their buildings, while supporting contractors to provide quality decarbonization services. Working alongside the EnergizeCT team, the Connecticut decarbonization advisor will provide a variety of support services virtually and in‑person, including decarbonization consultations, presentations, and trainings. This is a terrific opportunity for someone with a strong background in building science and energy efficiency, and the ability to translate technical jargon into actionable, practical guidance that helps realize the climate benefits of electrification.
This is a full‑time, exempt position with a starting salary plus bonus targeted between $70,000 and $80,000, depending on relevant skills and experience. The advisor will work primarily from an employee’s home office, with attendance at in‑person events and meetings across Connecticut and in Abode’s Concord, MA office as required.
