Job summary

Henry Ford St John Hospital in Detroit is seeking CT Technologists to join a dynamic imaging team. The role features a 16-week CT Cross-Training Program in partnership with Schoolcraft College, ASRT-based training, one-on-one CT preceptor guidance, hands-on clinical experience, and a clear path to CT certification.

Full Time, Part Time and Contingent roles are available with day, afternoon, night shifts and weekend options. A sign-on bonus up to $10,000 is offered for eligible full-time hires.

Qualifications

• Education/experience requirements include a High School Diploma or GED.
• BLS Provider certification required; AED/CPR based on AHA or Red Cross.
• Must obtain CT-related certifications within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Specializes in CT radiologic procedures under supervision.
• May perform general diagnostic radiology as needed.

GENERAL SUMMARY:

• Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.
• May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
• Performs related duties as required.

Qualifications:

Qualifications

** EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:**

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
• Healthcare Provider certification required.
• (BCLS) BLS Provider obtained within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
  • American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:

• One or more of the following:
  • Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.
• Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
