Henry Ford Health St. John Hospital in Detroit is seeking a CT Technologist for our cross-training program. This 16-week CT Cross-Training program, in partnership with Schoolcraft College, offers one-on-one instruction and hands-on CT experience.

Opportunities available for Full Time, Part Time and Contingent roles with day, afternoon, night, and weekend shifts; sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for full-time positions.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Healthcare Provider certification required.
• BCLS/BLS Provider certification within 1 month of hire.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.
• May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
• Performs related duties as required.

GENERAL SUMMARY

• Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients.
• May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations.
• Performs related duties as required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
• Must maintain the required hours of continued education.
• Healthcare Provider certification required.
• (BCLS) BLS Provider obtained within one (1) month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
• American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED

• One or more of the following:
• Nuclear Medical Tech credentialed from the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• NMTCB (CD Computed Tomography Specialty Certification or ARRT(CT) Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography required in addition to CNMT Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification.
• Radiologic Technologist specializing in Computed Tomography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Must be registered in Computer Tomography within 12 months of date of hire.
• Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
• Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy specialty also accepted.
