The role you’ll contribute:

Under supervision, perform imaging on neuro and body scans for patients from neonate to geriatric, following age-specific guidelines, transmitting images for diagnosis, and updating hospital computer systems. Participate in outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships while implementing facility principles.

The value you’ll bring to the team:

  • Perform exams using established protocols, ensuring proper patient identification and education.
  • Complete exams efficiently, minimizing downtime and coordinating patient transport and discharge.
  • Operate all imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors, and monitors, and adapt protocols for all ages.
  • Screen patients for contrast allergies, practice infection control, and maintain a clean, organized room.
  • Perform QA on CT scanners, and handle pharmaceutical waste properly after training.
  • Review images, repeat if necessary, and notify physicians of emergent findings per protocol.
  • Use computer systems for exam management, ensuring accuracy before pushing images to PACS.

Qualifications:

  • Associate's or Technical degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Completion of radiologic technology training and ARRT registration (R) (CT).
  • State license as required by the state, if applicable.
