Job summary

SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children's Hospital in St. Louis, MO is seeking a PRN Radiology CT Technologist to perform CT procedures per radiologists' protocols. ARRT-R and Radiology Tech training are required, with ARRT-CT within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration, and adherence to radiation safety standards. Shift options include night and weekend differentials with PRN as needed and daily pay available.

Qualifications

• Completion of Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program.
• ARRT-R Radiography certification required or in progress; ARRT-CT credential expected within 12 months of hire.

• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within scope of practice and regulations.

Job Summary

Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. This position must perform at least 3 of the following procedures: biopsy, TAVR, coronary, watchman, extremity work for OR planning, ablations or fiducial placement.

Job Responsibilities and Requirements

• Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Works in a constant state of alertness and safe manner.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Completion of a Radiology Technology, Nuclear Medicine or Radiation Therapy program

• No experience required
