Job summary

Rutherfordton Health Network is seeking a Radiologic Technologist – CT Certification Pathway to perform computed tomography imaging procedures while delivering safe, accurate, and high-quality patient care in Rutherfordton, NC. The role requires ARRT credentials and the ability to obtain CT certification if not already held.

The position is full-time, on-site, with a Monday-Thursday 3:00 PM–1:30 AM schedule.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current ARRT credential.
• CT certification preferred at hire.
• Able to obtain CT certification within 1 year of hire.
• Ability to perform CT imaging safely and accurately.
• Strong teamwork with multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders before imaging procedures.
• Explain procedures and equipment to patients for understanding.
• Prepare and administer contrast media within scope of practice.
• Monitor patient condition and respond to changes.
• Prepare CT equipment, supplies and imaging areas.
• Follow radiation safety standards and QA checks.
• Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and report issues.
• Position patients and perform CT imaging procedures.
• Review imaging quality and identify technical issues.
• Take corrective action and reposition if needed.
• Enter and report imaging results per procedures.
• Participate in performance improvement and CE activities.
• Provide high-quality patient care and collaborate with teams.
• Work flexible shifts or units when needed.
