Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in radiologic technology.
• CT Certified or Cross Trained in CT.
• Current ARRT certification.
• BLS certification.
• New York State CT license.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Explain the procedure during the X Ray/CT scan to patients.
• Responsible for floating to OR cases.
• Position patients properly to take the necessary images.
• Administering contrast IV dyes to enhance imaging.
• Examining images to ensure they are usable.
• Updating patient medical records.
• Cleaning and maintaining X Ray/CT scan equipment.
• Keeping inventory of X Ray/CT scan supplies and making orders for supply restocks as required.
• Other duties as assigned.
