An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Nurse Per Diem for their Crisis Stabilization Unit. This role involves providing essential short-term care to clients facing acute psychiatric and substance use crises. The Providence Center Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) provides short-term care for patients experiencing an acute psychiatric and/or substance use crisis that could escalate to a point of requiring hospitalization. As an alternative to hospitalization or as a step-down for a transition between levels of care, the CSU’s services focus on stabilizing clients and addressing their mental health and substance use needs.
