Job summary

Bechtel Corporation is seeking personnel to support commissioning and startup on the Thacker Pass Project in Nevada. You will provide specialized technical guidance, participate in planning, turnover coordination, and material management for facility startup.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to design while collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams on a high-profile energy project in a remote Nevada location.

Qualifications

• Requires bachelor's degree (or international equivalent) and 8–10 years of relevant experience or 12–14 years of relevant work experience.
• Strong English oral and written communication skills are required.
• Proficiency with Outlook, Excel, Word and Bechtel systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead startup support activities including installation configuration validation and work package development.
• Plan and schedule CSU execution activities and prepare work packages.
• Coordinate turnover walks and interface with Field Engineer for turnover support.
• Manage field purchases and quantity takeoffs for CSU and related items.
• Perform walkdowns and testing to ensure configurations meet design specifications and safety standards.
• Identify and escalate ES&H issues and promote safe work practices.
